About Legacy Window Films
Our Story
Jonathan Milne began his window film career in Great Britain in 1993, where he developed a meticulous approach to installation and an eye for lasting quality. After expanding his work to Window Film Solutions in Oklahoma, Jonathan and his wife Esther made their way to Alabama's Gulf Coast — a place where the sun shines harder, the salt air bites deeper, and window film genuinely matters.
Legacy Window Films was founded to serve this community with the same care and craftsmanship Jonathan had built his career on. Over the past 30+ years, that reputation has extended to residential homeowners, commercial property managers, school districts, banks, and military installations across Baldwin County.
Jonathan became a U.S. citizen during this time — a milestone he describes as "one of the proudest days of my life." That pride in his adopted community is reflected in how he runs the business: personally involved in every job, with honest advice and no hard sell.

Why We Use XPEL & Madico
We've tested and installed nearly every major brand on the market. We use XPEL VISION and Madico because they consistently outperform in Gulf Coast conditions — high UV index, extreme heat, and salt-air humidity that degrades cheaper films within a few years. Every product we install is one we'd put on our own home.
Our Values
- Honest assessment — we'll tell you if film isn't the right solution
- Professional-grade materials only — no DIY-store film, ever
- Clean, efficient installation — no mess, no disruption to your day
- We stand behind our work — 30+ years of reputation on the line
